MVAA SUMMER STARS CONCERT SERIES 2018

The Summer Stars Concert Series is a FREE program run by the Mountain View Arts Alliance.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy entertainment ranging from show tunes to New Orleans-style brass music. Concessions are in exchange for a donation to MVAA, or bring your own dinner from home!

Prefer to sit at a table? Reserve an 8-seat table for $40 per show or book the whole season for $120! Reserve your table or season reservations soon. See below for more information. 

 Lawn opens at 7pm for seating and shows start at 7:30pm. Sorry, no alcoholic beverages are allowed.

June 22 and 23: Cabaret Camp presents “Little Shop of Horrors”*

Cabaret Summer Stock HS Performance Camp will provide you with music, dance and laughter as they perform a musical that they have worked on for two weeks. You will be blown away by the professional talent and entertainment you can find right here in Cobb area schools!

July 26: Screening of Disney’s “Coco”

View this fun, vibrant film about a young musician, Miguel, traveling to the Land of the Dead to learn about his family’s past. Rated PG. Presented by Kaiser Permanente. This show will begin at dusk.
*There will not be tables at this show and it is not included in the season pass.

August 4: Wasted Potential Brass Band

Wasted Potential Brass Band is a bonafide New Orleans-style Second Line brass band, based in Atlanta. Multiple readers-choice award winners in Atlanta’s Creative Loafing, WPBB is a favorite and parades, festivals and the streets of Atlanta in Little Five Points, Cabbagetown and Decatur. Prefer to sit at a table? Reserve an 8-seat table for $40 per show! Or get four for the price of three with a season pass at $120.00. Pass only includes one Cabaret Camp Performance and does not include the July 26 screening of “Coco”. Visit Ticketleap to make a reservation or reserve in person at The Art Place. We accept credit cards, checks or exact cash! 

If you purchase a table you will also receive indoor seating for up to 8 people in the theater in case of rain. You will not have a table inside but you will be reserved a seat! When you purchase a table you will be asked to check in when you arrive to receive up to 8 tickets per table. Lawn opens at 7:00pm for seating and shows start at 7:30pm. Sorry, there are no refunds for table reservations.
